~SOLON SPARTANS~ STATE CHAMPS~

~THE CATCH THAT CHANGED THE GAME~ YEP!!!! That's our NICK #24.....
who intercepted the ball and changed the outcome of the game. It's all we needed to get ourselves back to the SOLON FOOTBALL Team that we all know and love. This was a close one, 10 to 7 for the first 3 quarters. Boydon-Hull was STELLER, BIG and STRONG!!!!
We finally turned things around in the fourth quarter and won 38 to 7....Solon has won it's 41st straight win, Coach Miller won his 100th win and we are now a 3peat, 3 Times Back to Back State Football Champs.
WAY TO GO SPARTANS!!!!
Happy Monday everyone, Amy

~ALLI and NICK~

~MY ALLI GIRL IS 18 and GRADUATING~ This picture was taken in our front yard, it's my FAVORITE!!!! This picture was taken in the swing my Dad made in our backyard
Okay, so where in the world did that time go.....I remember having her, emergency C-section and praying to God to let her live as she lay in ICU for 3 days. I couldn't even go in to see her, she was that sick. To think, they didn't know if she would have brain damage or not and she is a STRAIGHT A student, on the National Honor Society, works 2 jobs, plays Varsity Basketball, volunteers everyday and takes college courses. All while finishing her Senior Year of High School. She is AMAZING!!! And I am not just saying that because she's my girl. I am TRULY BLESSED!!!!
(and her future plans are to move to Panama City, Florida in June to go to school and be with big sister Kristi.....It's wonderful and sad at the same time to see them grow their wings) I'm so proud of you Alli!!!!
Our NICK......#24....(the little H2O kid is standing next to him) in the state playoff game.....He's a junior for Solon Spartans and they are rated #1 in the state. We have one more game to go on Saturday and if we win, it will be our 41st straight win and our 3rd State Championship. HE IS SUCH A DOLL and the girls are CRAZY FOR HIM. (He looks just like his Dad and has the best qualities a man could ever have, Bob has done such a great job with him)
Good Luck Nick.....YOU ROCK!!!!

That's Nick....on the ground...grabbing the North Fayette's Quarterback.

Hugs and Love everyone, we are TRULY BLESSED......Amy

Yippy, my computer is back and running....Sad news, Kristi moved to Florida with her new hubby Chase. They left last week and I am still waiting for her to come flying thru the door. I am so excited for both of them to start their new life together. Please say a prayer for both of them as Chase gets ready to deploy to Kuwait in December. ~REST IN PEACE TYLER, WE WILL FOREVER MISS YOU~

~SEE YOU AGAIN TYLER when we get to HEAVEN~

Tyler “TP” Ryan Peterson, 20, of 340 Eighth St., Marion, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at home. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Private family burial: Oakshade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include his parents, Mark (Marianne) Wanerus and Rhonda (David) Supple; two brothers, Zack and Eli Matthess; grandparents, Terrie Counter, Don Peterson and Mike (Peg) Robison; great-grandparents, Gene (Fern) Struchen and Jean Sciaccotta; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandpa.
Tyler was born July 11, 1989, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Marion High School in 2008, and worked as a detailer at Cedar Rapids Toyota. Tyler loved cars, especially his truck, the “Fun Finder.” He also enjoyed 4-wheeling, music of all kinds (was a Motley Crue historian) and loved his dog, Obie.

Tyler was a beloved son, brother, grandson and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tyler’s memory.
Please sign the online guest book for Tyler at http://www.murdochfuneralhome.com/ under obituaries.

Tyler was my FAVORITE of all of Kristi's friends. THAT BIG SMILE and that GIVING HEART!!!! Never an unkind word came from his mouth.
We are ALL so shocked and saddened by his passing. Please, go tell those that are important to you and that you care about that you love them. Life is so fragile and so senseless at times, and it all changes in an instant.

~GOD BE WITH YOU TYLER, WE WILL MISS AND LOVE YOU FOREVER, SEE YOU AGAIN when we ALL IN HEAVEN~
